As long as you have a basic grasp of music theory, we believe you should be able to take any course presented on our website. If you are unsure which course to take, make sure to take advantage of the ‘course previews’ presented in each course. As part of our intro discount, we are disclosing more than 50% of the entire course with our previews. If this doesn’t help, you can always refer to our ‘course level’ indicator displayed on each course’s introduction page.

While musicians without any educational background may benefit from our courses, we recommend having at least a basic knowledge of music theory concepts such as intervals, chords, and scales to ensure a smooth learning experience.
Our objective when creating the courses was to focus on demonstrating how, when, and where to apply music theory in creating various styles of music, instead of presenting a dry theory resource (because there are plenty already).
Please check the 'course level' on each course's introduction page. If you are a person with limited musical education, we suggest that you start with our introductory courses "Using Ostinatos to Construct a Piece", and "Creating Mood Instantly with Two-Chord Structures", which will give you a good foundation before jumping into more advanced courses.
